As you will be aware Gary was involved in an incident at Waterworks on the first lap of today's Superstock TT race and was airlifted to the island's Nobles Hospital.
Gary suffered a broken collar and fingers and sustained a chipped bone in his neck. He is in a comfortable condition and also in good spirits winding up the nurses.
Gary wants to take this opportunity to 'thank' everyone who assisted him on the coarse and transfer to hospital, especially the marshalls, medical staff and helicopter pilot.
He also says a 'big thank you' to all his family, team, friends and fans for the kind messages he's received through text messages and social media.
Further updates will be issued via Gary's social media pages and website (www.garyjohnsonracing.com).
